This course is designed for Tribal agency child welfare workers and related staff working with American Indian families. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) and the Minnesota Family Preservation Act (MIFPA), equipping them to advocate for the best interest of families when working with their counterparts within county agencies.
